Attending a London Film Premiere is such an amazing experience whether you are behind the barriers with a view to take pictures, get some signed pieces or looking to chat to the stars; or if you are super lucky…enough to walk the red carpet!
Either way, enjoying the experience and having happy memories of when you met the lead actor or caught up with a few pals is what matters.
Typically most premieres during the week will see the red carpet event set up from the morning with celebs and cast walking the red carpet from 5.15pm onwards with the movie inside the cinema starting at 7pm.
A few quick tips:
Arrive early to secure a good position.Don’t push to get to the front/or lean over as you could spoil someone
Don’t push to get to the front/or lean over as you could spoil someone else’s picture
Be near the cinema entrance as this if often where all stars stop to meet their fans.
Do take a hat as the odds are that it could rain and get your phone wet. Umbrellas and ruck sacks just anooy everyone else, so try to leave them at home.
Take something to eat and a drink with you
Keep an eye out for everyone walking on the red carpet as you may spot someone famous
Going with a friend can help you to secure a spot if you need to pop to the toilet
Most premieres do NOT require wristbands to view the stars from behind the barriers (near to all the red carpet action), though Tickets are required to walk the red carpet; these are generally only for cast, celebs, promoters, movie insiders and competition winners.
Our top tip – Most of the public waiting outside the cinema leave as the celebs have all gone in…many of the cast having carried out interviews with the media will leave a short while after.
