How to make pancakes

Here’s how to make a simple and delicious pancake recipe.

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1 large egg
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently whisk until just combined. The batter will have some lumps, but that’s okay.
Heat a non-stick pan or griddle over medium heat. Scoop 1/4 cup of batter onto the pan for each pancake.
Cook the pancake until bubbles form on the surface and the bottom is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the other side is golden brown.
Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the pan as needed.
Serve the pancakes hot with your favorite toppings, such as syrup, fruit, or butter.
