Halsey considers reducing workload

Halsey has implied she may start reducing her workload as she continues to struggle with ongoing health problems.

On Sunday, the singer, who uses she/they pronouns, candidly addressed their health issues and touched on the possibility of scaling back as a result.

The 27-year-old live with endometriosis and revealed they have been dealing with “new challenges.”

Halsey posted the message alongside an image of her laying in bed, writing, “I have been in and out of the hospital for the past few weeks dealing with some new challenges.

“Trying my best to keep things normal; Grammys, Coachella etc. But my body is putting up a strong protest. And ultimately demanding that I slow down or stop forreal this time. Especially so I can be in the best shape for tour.”

The singer told fans chronic illness is a “complex mystery” and that if they are “MIA” as a result, not to take it personally.

Halsey concluded the message by saying, “I am doing the best I can under difficult circumstances. Sharing this for my fellow spoonies. All that glitters…”

The singer’s message comes as she gears up for tour next month to promote the album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power.

The ‘Love and Power’ tour will see Halsey visit a wide variety of locations, performing on 22 dates between May 17 and September 22.

Earlier this year, the singer said they underwent surgery for endometriosis prior to attending the 2022 Grammy Awards on April 3.

In an Instagram post, Halsey told fans, “The last time I attended the Grammys was 2017 and it was 3 days after I had my first Endometriosis surgery.”

“I walked the carpet with my stitches still in. As luck would have it, I’m attending tomorrow for the first time in years and I had surgery again (you guessed it) 3 days ago.”

Halsey urged readers to be “gentle” saying: “If you see me be gentle lol I’m fragile. Fragile but excited.”
