Every original movie coming this summer on Netflix

Ah, summertime. Time for warm weather, vacations, and blockbuster movies — some of which you can stream on Netflix from the comfort of your own home!

New movies hit the streaming service every week, and there’s everything from thrillers like the star-studded The Gray Man to animated adventures like The Sea Beast. Jane Austen adaptation Persuasion and Adam Sandler comedy Hustle are also coming this summer, as well as a slate of international releases like Dangerous Liaisons and Thar.

Top pick: The Gray Man

To sell you on The Gray Man, all I have to do is list the cast: Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page… Come on, that sounds like a solid ensemble right there. But The Gray Man has even more going for it: It’s directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, whose Marvel films have proven they can direct exciting action.

Netflix’s most expensive movie yet, The Gray Man is a thriller following the CIA’s most skilled operative (Gosling). When a villainous former colleague (Evans) puts a bounty on his head, he has to escape from the world’s most dangerous assassins.
