Orlando Bloom insists Miranda Kerr is still part of his family

The 36-year-old actor and the 30-year-old model – who have two-year-old son Flynn together – announced yesterday (25.10.13) that their three-year marriage has been over for a few months, but the hunky film star is confident the pair will always remain close.

He said: ”We’re not friends. We’re family.”

The A-list couple admitted their romance ended ”amicably” and they will continue to support each other in raising their child.

The ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star began dating Victoria’s Secret beauty Miranda, 30, in 2007, and the couple tied the knot three years later in July 2011, before welcoming their son in January 2011.

Orlando recently put his Los Angeles home in the Hollywood Hills on the market for $4.5 million.

Miranda and Orlando, 36, were last spotted together in late September when she supported him at the opening night of a new Broadway production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’, in which he plays the titular heartthrob.

Miranda starred on ‘Entertainment Tonight‘ back in September whilst Orlando will star in two upcoming movies in the The Hobbit.
