“I’m gonna go do Doctor Strange, kind of a psychedelic Marvel comic, with Benedict Cumberbatch,” she told The Wrap. “Cumberbatch!”

However, she didn’t add any further details of her role, claiming she “didn’t know” if she was allowed to offer up more information at this stage.

Benedict takes on the role of Dr. Stephen Strange, while Tilda Swinton has been confirmed as The Ancient One. Chiwetel Ejiofor will play Baron Mordo.

Meanwhile Mads Mikkelsen is rumoured to be taking on the role of the villain, although he is yet to speak out on the gossip.

Benedict had been attached to the project for a long time and finally confirmed his involvement last year. He’s already revealed how much he’s looking forward to the Marvel movie.

“Excited. Really excited. There’s a lot of work to be done and I’m just at the beginning of it all so I’m not going to talk too much about it but it’s a thrilling gig to get. I just can’t wait. Very excited,” he previously gushed to Hey U Guys via The Hollywood Reporter at the 2014 British Independent Film Awards.

Doctor Strange follows the neurosurgeon as his life is transformed by a sorcerer, who takes the physician under his wing to save the world from evil. It’s expected to hit cinemas in October 2016.
