The wait is finally over! If you are a fan of the first instalment of Avatar, then this piece of news will excite you. The official teaser trailer for the second instalment of Avatar has finally been released.
The plot of the second part will continue where the first one left off. This time, we get to see what happens to Pandora and its inhabitants after the destruction brought on by Jake Sully in his avatar form.
So, without any further ado, let’s get into it and check out the official teaser trailer of Avatar: The Way of Water, right away.
- Jake Sully
The trailer opens with the scene of Jake Sully in a wheelchair, with his legs wrapped in bandages. He is then seen lying in a hospital bed. A nurse comes to him and informs him that the people need help. He turns out to be in a wheelchair and is seen flying across a river.
This part of the trailer ends with Jake Sully looking at a beautiful sunset on Pandora. The next part of the trailer features Jake Sully walking toward one of the Na’vi children, playing around with some animal on a tree branch. The child hands over the animal to Jake Sully, who looks at it for a second before letting it go back into the jungle.
- Human Activities
The next scene in Avatar 2 shows us how Pandora has been affected by human activities and pollution, which humans brought about during their exploration of Pandora in search of valuable minerals and other resources found on Pandora’s surface. The human settlements have also damaged the ecosystem of Pandora, as they have cut down large swathes of forest land to make way for their buildings, which has led to an imbalance in the ecosystem and an increase in pollution levels on Pandora’s surface.
We also see how these humans have introduced new species like dogs, cats, etc., onto Pandora, which are now wreaking havoc amongst their Na’vi counterparts like animals used as food for humans, etc., thus leading to increased conflicts between them as well as posing threats to their existence on earth as well due to pollution caused by them (the animals introduced by humans).
- Military
The last scene shows us how the humans have established a military base on Pandora near their main settlement, essentially used as a military installation to protect their interests on the planet. The Na’vi are also seen using this military facility to defend themselves against the humans. Mark Wahlberg is seen as the leader of this military base, and he has to prevent any attacks by the Navi on his facility. The Navi also use this facility to check the humans’ activities on Pandora.
- Ecosystem
There are several other scenes in this movie that also show how humans have affected the ecosystem of Pandora, like how they have cut down large swathes of forest land to make way for their buildings, etc. which have led to an imbalance in the ecosystem and an increase in pollution levels on Pandora’s surface.

- Human Settlers
Another scene also shows how these human settlers have been using Na’vi children to extract valuable minerals and other resources from beneath the ground surface of Pandora by making them do dangerous work at significant risk of being killed or maimed.
- Na’vi Child
Interestingly, the Na’vi child looks at Jake Sully as he hands over the animal and then looks at him with a smile after he lets it go. This might mean that even though Jake Sully has now become a part of the tribe, he is still not entirely trusted by them.
- Beautiful Sunset
This part of the trailer ends with Jake Sully looking at a beautiful sunset on Pandora. The next part of the trailer features Jake Sully walking toward one of the Na’vi children, playing around with some animal on a tree branch. The child hands over the animal to Jake Sully, who looks at it for a second before letting it go back into the jungle.
