After months of casting news, Zack Snyder is almost ready to reveal another crucial element to his upcoming film tentatively known as Superman/Batman — The Batmobile.
Snyder tweeted a photo of his Batmobile covered by a tarp, promising to reveal the whole thing tomorrow. So for now, all we can do is speculate, speculate, speculate. Check out the tweet below:
From the looks of it, could this be a hybrid of Tim Burton’s Batmobile and Christopher Nolan’s Tumbler, with just a touch of Joel Schumacher thrown in? The length and shape of it feels more reminiscent of what we knew with Burton, but the tires look like they might’ve drawn inspiration from Nolan, though I doubt they can twist all around and turn into a Batpod at a moment’s notice. But the wing on the back of the Batmobile — is that what you call it? — feels more like either of Schumacher’s versions (though not as dramatic).
Batman will be 40 and retired for seven years in the new Man of Steel sequel, according to the latest rumours.
Ben Affleck, will be older and wiser – we’ll meet him aged 40 and he’ll have been retired for seven years with the events of The Dark Knight Rises having happened in the past.
Batman will have retired so that he can rebuild Gotham as Bruce Wayne with Robin becoming his first protege as NightWing.
The movie Batman v Superman is out in 2016.
