Talking backstage at their late gig in San Francisco, the pop-punkers conceded that they’re worn out on listening to the same sorts of melodies on the radio so thought they would shake things up by discharging ‘She’s Kinda Hot’.

Calum Hood said: “Ideally we present some more guitar on the radio and motivate a few individuals to get guitars. We cherish rock music and we need to hear it back on standard radio. I am tired and tired of listening to this bulls**t on the radio, on the off chance that I will speak the truth. It is making me crazy.”

He went onto discuss the single’s message and conceded that he has felt harassed and like an untouchable previously: “Everybody has felt they sort of sucked in some cases, particularly with us when the band initially began and we didn’t fit into anything. The principal shows we played were after metal groups and everybody detested us.”

“We are on visit in America right now and you watch out into the group and everybody has distinctive insane hues in their hair or are dressed together in outfits and it’s a spot where everybody can feel they have a place. Everybody is having a decent time and nobody is checking out considering ‘Would it be a good idea for me to be hopping here and there, do I resemble a di#*head?'”
