Adam Lambert’s third studio collection ‘The Original High’ will be released later this year and is set to incorporate house music, Adam said that the record is “for the audience, not myself”.
“It’s definitely pop and there’s some house on there, there’s some R&B flavours here and there, and I co-wrote the whole thing with… [Max Martin and Shellback] and I’m really excited for people to hear it,” said Lambert.
“I want it to be less about me, even though it’s personal, and more about the listener. So whatever it means to you. I’m doing the music for the audience, not for myself.”
He said he’s like to collaborate with Brit crooners Sam Smith and Ed Sheeran. “There’s a lot of great singers here tonight. The UK is pumping outt incredible vocalists,” he said before listing Sam, Ed, Ella Eyre and Jess Glynne.
“If there’s a popular singer right now, it’s probably coming out of here.”
“I have some collaborations but I can’t really talk about them yet unfortunately,” he told us.
Lambert also spoke about touring with Queen, saying fronting the band was “an honour”.
