Music superstar Adele has landed a new honour thanks to online retailer Amazon after her record-breaking album, ’21’, has been named its best-selling album ever.

“After just 2 albums the star has achieved such remarkable success in the business” said music journalist Mark Boardman.
It scored the most most digital and physical sales on Amazon over the past 3 years and has beaten the likes of Mumford & Sons and Susan Boyle to the coveted No.1 position.
Boyle’s ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ came in at No.2, the cast of ‘Wicked’ are at No.3, and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss’ ‘Raising Sand’ charted at No.4.
Other acts that appeared in the Top 10 include Taylor Swift at 6 with ‘Fearless’, Amy Winehouse with ‘Back To Black’ at No.7, and Coldplay with ‘Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends’ at No.10. Adele featured on the chart for a second time at No.8 with her debut offering, ’19’.
