ALEXA GODDARD ANNOUNCES NEW SINGLE 'SO THERE'

Here are MarkMeets, we are in love with her style, music and personality. Having inetrviewed her last month, the new pop princess has arrived!

Produced by prolific global hit-makers Stargate (Beyoncé, Rihanna, Katy Perry) and written by singer-songwriter Livvi Franc (Shakira, Rihanna, Cheryl Cole), the hugely infectious track serves as a follow-up to the brilliant ‘Marilyn’ and ‘Pretty Girls’ – which introduced Alexa to a new legion of fans on top of her already strong social media following.

An incredible start to the summer has already seen Alexa opening the main stage at Wireless Festival after the impressive feat of selling out a show in two minutes – with her recent headline gig at the Islington Academy going down a storm.

Ready-to-explode singers rarely come equipped with a resume as tight as Alexa’s. By age 14, this girl from the small English town of Yateley, Hampshire, was travelling across Europe recording early demos. She went on to become one of the ten most subscribed musicians in the history of YouTube in the UK with over 44 million views. Her popularity led to her selling over 250,000 singles independently and entering the UK Top 20. She signed to Roc Nation last year after executives noticed her independent releases storming the charts, and were so impressed that they promptly told the team to ‘go get her’.

Alexa is already causing a stir in the press, with the Daily Star declaring that “the purity of her voice is unfathomable”. The Sun exclaimed “crumbs, she can sing!”, while Elle magazine described her as having a “Mariah-esque vocal range” .

Alexa’s talent and seamless transition from girl-next-door to pop’s next rising star make her the girl to watch out for this year!
