Bridgerton is a fancy drama with gorgeous backdrops, props and music.

Bridgerton, Netflix’s smash hit period drama, released its second season last month, implying that many viewers have already binge-watched the entire series.

We’re treated to a playlist full of pop hits that have been given an orchestral makeover as Jonathan Bailey takes centre stage as the eldest Bridgerton son, Anthony Bridgerton, ready to find a wife and attempting to woo new girl Edwina Sharma (Charithra Chandran) while constantly butting heads with her strong-willed sister Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).

While the Duke of Hastings (Rege-Jean Page) is not present in Bridgerton season 2, the soundtrack style that made such an impression in the first season returns with a vengeance.

One track which makes an appearance in the second season is an instrumental cover of Alanis Morrissette’s You Oughtta Know. And in case you were wondering what that would sound like with Morrissette’s vocals over the top, she’s only gone and recorded a brand new performance of just that for Netflix!
