The 32-year-old pop singer has just released her eighth new album ‘Britney Jean’ and is now currently preparing for her two-year Las Vegas residency, but she admits she feels more at home when she’s recording new tracks on her own.
She said: ”Yes, yes [the studio is where I feel safest]. Definitely. And that feeling of safeness comes through in my music now more than it ever has before – that’s how I feel comfortable making personal music.”

The ‘Hit Me Baby One More Time’ hitmaker – who has two children Preston, eight, and Jayden, seven, with her ex-husband Kevin Federline – is confident her new LP, which focuses on heartbreak, will inspire her fans to pursue their dreams regardless of what life throws at them.
Britney (who we first saw live in 2000) has sold more than 100 million albums and last year was the hiughest paid woman in music $58m (£35.6m)
Speaking to the Telegraph, she explained: ”There is definitely an element of that. I’ve always followed my heart and pursued my dreams, and I imagine that people find that inspiring. I hope that is the effect I have in my fans and people in general. I definitely want to project a positive energy out into the world.”
