The ‘Boom Clap’ hitmaker Charli XCX has revealed that she once passed out in Katy Perry’s bathroom, having visited her house to discuss their tour schedule.

During an interview, the singer admitted that she fainted as a result of being hungover and trying to power through with a ‘hair of the dog’ approach:

“I went to her (Katy Perry‘s) house, but was so hungover, I had one drink and passed out in her bathroom.”

The British singer has some powerful thoughts when it comes to media geared toward men and how it should try to promote feminism.

Charli XCX (real name Charlotte Emma Aitchison) has confessed that her ultimate goal is to fully infiltrate the pop charts with songs she has written and worked on: “I’m going to build an empire. I’m always writing for someone else. I want to be someone who has her fingerprints all over the pop charts.”
