Cher on her live shows

Cher is struggling to say goodbye to performing live as she starts to wrap up her last ever tour.

The 68-year-old pop star is currently performing her ‘Dressed To Kill’ farewell gigs across the globe and admits the idea of giving up performing is difficult to deal with after so many years.

She added: ”Great audience… Its hard to Say goodbye 4 Ever? (sic)”

The Dressed To Kill tour is the first time Cher has been on the road in nearly a decade, after her ‘Living Proof: The Farewell Tour’, which ran from 2002 to 2005.

She then took up a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, performing from 2008 to 2011.

Cher previously insisted she’s still got what it takes to put on an incredible live show, and she can even still squeeze into her fishnet bodystocking.

She said: ”A friend said to me that a woman is sexy while she can still put on her stockings, I thought, ‘I can do better than that, I can still put on my body stocking’. They’ll probably even dress me in it when I’m dead.”

The ‘If I Could Turn Back Time’ hitmaker is promoting her latest album ‘Closer to the Truth’ and is scheduled to play shows across the US and Canada, wrapping up the concert series in Wichita, Kansas in November.
