Is new music from Britney Spears coming?

After a 5 year music gap, could new music be released in the near future by Britney…No is the final answer.

Ever since her father’s role in her conservatorship ended, Spears has been active on social media and shared numerous videos of herself enjoying new-found freedoms, from spending her own cash to getting married. It’s safe to say that Spears is entering a new phase of her life, and we couldn’t be more thrilled for the star.

Britney Spears recently said “I’m reminding myself and the world of who I am !!!!” to much fan adulation. It’s apparant that Spears is finally realising just how successful she’s been in her music career. “I’m not auditioning for anything !!!! I’m reminding myself and the world of who I am !!!!” the star contuined.

Spears hasn’t released a new album since 2016’s Glory. And as her lawyer Mathew Rosengart said outside the courthouse on Nov. 12, the day her conservatorship ended, Spears’ future in music is finally in her own hands.

“So what’s next for Britney –– and this is the first time that this could be said for about a decade –– is up to one person: Britney.”

News now is that Spears was planning to work on new music and had been songwriting and pitching new ideas herself to close friends” A source told MarkMeets exclusively.

Our sources confirmed that Britney has made her intentions very clear about wanting to go back in the studio but now her family come first and she isn’t ready for a return to the industry and all the pressure that comes with it.

“Nothing new is expected now and plans for a return to music and potential tour are on hold indefinitely” The source added to entertainment news website MarkMeets Media.

“There is still a lot that has to happen in her (Britney’s) life before this now happens. Picking a trusted team is a must from a producer and getting song writers on-board, but one thing is for sure, she wants back in the game at some point” confirm Mark Meets Magazine.

The last time she performed live was during her Pieces of Me Las Vegas residency in 2017.

 “Not doing my music anymore is my way of saying ‘F–k You’ in a sense.” said Brit.

“I guess it seems odd to most now why I don’t even do my music anymore… that’s just the surface issues,” she wrote in the caption. “People have no idea the awful things that were done to me personally… and after what I’ve been through, I’m scared of people and the business!!!!”

She had hoped to “perform new songs and remixes of my old songs” but was allegedly unable to do so while she was under the conservatorship.

“My goal for this year is to push myself a bit more and do things that scare me but not too much,” she shared. “I do know what makes me happy and brings me joy and I try to meditate on those places and thoughts that enable me to experience it!!!!!”

“Adventures with the kids are so much fun,” Britney captioned her latest post.

Back in June 2021 the singer said that she wasn’t sure whether she’d perform again. ‘Am I ready to take the stage again? Am I going to take the stage again? Will I ever take the stage again? I have no idea,’ Spears told fans in an Instagram video.
