The couple hit the stage at Pier 40 in Manhattan’s West Side on Saturday night (01.02.14) to perform their single ‘Drunk In Love’ for around 6,000 guests.
According to the New York Post, the couple banked the $2 million fortune after performing to the huge audience, which included Hollywood legends Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and former ‘Beatle’ Sir Paul McCartney, at the DirecTV Super Saturday party – hailed one of most expensive Super Bowl parties of all-time.
Jay Z, 44 – who headlined the event alongside DJ Tiesto – performed a selection of his greatest hits before being joined on stage by his superstar wife, 32, for a rendition of their latest collaboration.
Following their performance in the specially-constructed 88,000 ft stadium the pair were later spotted partying at Jay Z’s own 40/40 club for the Roc Nation Sports and Airbnb event.
It is the second time in recent weeks that the usually private pair have performed together on stage.
The happy couple put on a raunchy performance during last month’s Grammy Awards in which the rapper sang ”all hail Queen B” before kissing Beyoncé on stage.
