Jessie J reveals what makes her feel alive

Singer Jessie J has revealed that she remains motivated by living each day as if it might be her last.

The British superstar  has just joined forces with Nike+ Training Club App to launch her own ‘Wild Alive High Intensity Workout’ and told the famous sports brand that she keeps in mind that you have a choice each morning whether to make the most of your time or to let it pass you by:

“For me, it’s a matter of choice. When you wake up in the morning, you have a choice in life. You either procrastinate and you sit back and let your dreams go by, or you enjoy the life you’ve been given, use that as great energy and dedicate your time to what you want your life to be. I was brought up with that mindset and it’s never left me. So I’m very grateful for that; it’s the reason I try and enjoy everything I do.”

When asked how she feels after a great workout, Jessie J added that it makes her confident and feel strong: “It really makes me feel positive. It releases endorphins — and I never really used to believe in that until I started working out. You do really get this sluggish feeling before a workout where you’re like, ‘Oh, I don’t want to do it’ and you might feel a little low. But you do a workout and it gives you that pickup. It makes me feel alive.”

When asked how she manages to stay so fit, Jessie J added that she is dedicated to keeping her body toned and herself healthy because it’s so important for her career:

“Dedication is the first word that springs to mind because you really do have to allocate time to working out. All you consist of in life is your body and I’m five-foot-nine of me. So I have to make sure that from my head to my toes, I’m doing the best I can to make my life long and healthy. I eat well, I try to get as much rest as I can, and I push myself on stage and in my cardio training.”

In March, Jessie J will join forces with the Nike+ Training Club App in the form of her Wild Alive High Intensity Workout and fans will be able to download the program and keep fit with her. Her workout program on the app will launch on March 3.
