Lana Del Rey, Barry Gibb, You Me at Six, Drake, Foo Fighters, Sia, Kelly Clarkson, Sir Tom Jones releasing new albums this year

Foo Fighters, Sia, Bonnie Tyler, Sting (A duets album), Evanescence, Carrie Underwood, Kelly Clarkson, OneRepublic are just some acts releasing fresh albums this year.

We really hope that Harry Styles can save 2021 by releasing a new album too!

In the mix for 2021’s highly anticipated album releases are some of the industry’s biggest names like Rihanna, Drake, Travis Scott, Migos, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. With these projects on the horizon, 2021 is shaping up to be worth the hype.

Barry Gibb‘s ‘Greenfields’ album will feature collaborations featuring Dolly, Keith Urban, Olivia Newton-John

The reworking of the 1968 track is set to appear on Gibb’s upcoming new album, ‘Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol.1’, which will feature new versions of songs from the Gibb family’s discography.

Rihanna – The one thing we know about the singer’s ninth studio album – speculatively dubbed R9 – is that it is definitely on the way. RiRi has confirmed as much in countless interviews – “It’s going to be worth it,” she promised last July – and industry insiders like Pharrell Williams, Shaggy, and Skylar Grey have validated her claims. 2021 will mark five years since her last release.

Zayn Malik – While the young star spent most of his time in 2020 preparing for fatherhood and welcomed his first-born, Malik isn’t leaving the music world just yet.

He released his new single ‘Better’ in September fueling rumours that the new record could have the same name.

Although no release dates have been confirmed, Zayn has definitely been working on new music with an accompanying press release statement revealing: “With total creative rein on his third album, Zayn is making the music he has always wanted to.”

Drake – Certified Lover Boy, we hear at MarkMeets that Chris Brown is it’s rumored to be featured on the album!! This will be album number 6 from Drank who was Spotify’s most-streamed artist of the decade.

Evanescence – ‘The Bitter Truth’ will feature 12 tracks, including the already released four, it’ll be Amy Lee and Co.’s first album of original music in a decade.

Sir Tom Jones will release a new album this year after he spent lockdown mixing it and putting it all together confirms the 80-year-old star.
