Muse has been confirmed as Glastonbury’s second headline act announced this month joining Coldplay at the Somerset Festival.
The Devonshire trio, who had major success at the Grammy’s this year, winning the rock album category with ‘Drones’, have also broken another bit of Glastonbury history, by becoming the first act to headline all three nights on the Pyramid Stage.
They have previously headlined the Sunday in 2004 and Saturday in 2010. They will headline Friday in 2016.
The band have been rumoured and one of the favourites to play at the Festival at Worthy Farm, Pilton.
The band teased fans by posting a video titled “Playing a little show at home”.

Muse will be playing during their busy Drones World Tour, which started back in May 2015.
Now all eyes turn to the Saturday slot on the Pyramid Stage on who will headline.
Earlier this month revealed that “three brilliant British bands” are headlining and suggested we’ll find out the third act “very soon”.
‘Drones’ is the seventh Album released by the group who came to fame in 1998.
