One Direction lads looking forward to break

The One Direction boys have had a busy year and played 131 dates in just ten months.

Singer Niall Horan admitted that the constant jet lag was making his life hard.

The 20-year-old told the Star: “We had a bit of time off after finishing the world tour but the new album came out last week so we are doing all the promo for that.

“Jet lag kills me. The flying is OK, I don’t mind that – but the jet lag is a nightmare.

“I was up today at 7am, watched a bit of Jeremy Kyle and then slept right through until 5pm.”

Bosses at Syco, their record label, have agreed Niall, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles can have a break in their schedule.

Niall added: “We’ve got some time off over Christmas. It will give us a chance to relax and enjoy it with the family.

“We are busy but you just have to get on with it.”

As well as One Direction’s Take Me Home tour which hit Australia, Asia and North America, the lads have been promoting their 3D film* This Is Us*.

They also recorded and released third album Midnight Memories and put out their own perfume Our Moment.

An insider said: “They have been so busy working on so many projects it’s left them exhausted.”
