Rebecca Ferguson has given further insight into her upcoming album titled ‘Heaven-Part 2’ which will be released on December 5 2023, calling it ‘uplifting’, with songs that ‘reflect her life’, as she is in a happy place, and can’t wait to finish the record.

The singer and mum to four children who married last year is thrilled to be making music on her own terms, and will be touring later this year with dates to be confirmed, although I can reveal Liverpool will be one of the dates on the tour schedule for sure with more to be announced in 2024.

Rebecca has learned a lot over the past decade and has been back in the recording studio and we can’t wait to hear the upcoming LP to which Rebecca revealed on a twitter spaces call to me that “The music, album cover, tracklisting and ownership” is all hers, and hers alone. Giving her full control of the music that Rebecca has created.

Last month Rebecca Ferguson and Alyosha performed ‘Welcome To Our House’ at the First Semi-Final of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest in Liverpool and on her Instagram shared “Thank you for all of the kind comments about my performance at #eurovision and for my team and amazing husband who helped me to be the best I could be on stage”.

The British singer-songwriter gained fame through her participation in the seventh season of the reality TV show “The X Factor UK” in 2010 finishing as the runner-up in the show. Since then Ferguson’s powerful vocals and soulful performances captivated audiences and led to a successful music career, and over recent years has been supporting the rights of people entering the industry after a terrible experience on the shows, sharing many details across her social media platforms including very honest videos that has seen her campaign for changes in the law after revealing contestants on reality shows often being forced into contracts without independent advice, daily manipulation and constant pressure thus resulting in mental health issues from being forced into one-sides contracts or the dream is over.

The star posted recently “The album is amazing I’m a humble person but it is and it’s powerful and I hope it brings you all so much love and healing”.

Her debut Heaven 1 was released in 2011 and well received and was certified double platinum. The album’s tracks often delve into personal experiences, relationships, and self-discovery, showcasing Ferguson’s emotional depth and introspection. Rebecca has since spoken out public in recent years despite an array of NDA’s about her time on the x factor from poor treatment, harassment, poor money management, and many other areas that still needs to be addressed in the entertainment industry.

This was followed up by ‘Freedom’ which further showcased Ferguson’s growth as an artist and explores a variety of musical styles, including soul, pop, and R&B.

Over the years, Rebecca Ferguson has continued to release music, exploring various musical styles while staying true to her soulful roots. Her subsequent albums besides Freedom include, “Lady Sings the Blues” (2015), “Superwoman” (2016), and “Heaven (Deluxe Edition)” (2012). These albums have featured singles such as “I Hope,” “Glitter & Gold,” and “Bones,” which have further solidified Ferguson’s reputation as a talented vocalist and songwriter.

Heaven 2 is out December 5th, be sure to pre-order (we will share the link once live)
