What is a basic photographer kit

What do you need to become a photographer, besides a good eye, editing skills and contacts to make it a success? A good peice of good but many start out like me as an amateur with a basic photography kit for a photographer but what does that typically include?​

​Camera: A digital camera is the essential piece of equipment for a photographer. There are many different types of cameras available, including mirrorless, DSLR, and point-and-shoot.

    Lens: A camera lens is used to focus light onto the camera’s image sensor. Different lenses have different focal lengths and aperture settings, which affect the way an image looks. A basic kit would include a standard lens such as a 50mm f/1.8 or a kit lens 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6

    Tripod: A tripod is a stand that holds the camera steady while taking photos. This is especially useful when taking long exposures or shooting in low light conditions.

    SD Card: An SD card is used to store the photos that you take with your camera. Make sure to have a large enough SD card to store all your photos.

    Camera bag: A camera bag is used to protect and transport your camera and lenses.

    Cleaning kit: A cleaning kit includes items such as lens cleaning solution, lens cleaning cloths, and air blower to clean your camera and lenses.

    Extra battery: A spare battery is always a good idea to have, as batteries tend to run out quickly when using the camera frequently.

    Remote control: A remote control allows you to take pictures without touching the camera, which can reduce camera shake and blur.
