Diamonds and Diamond Engagement Rings: Choosing the Right Diamond to Represent Your Love

Love is what this life is about. When I see or experience it, I tear up. Love is special and in great shortage in this world. It should be uplifted, celebrated, and offered to each other freely if we want to see more of it in our lives.

In my view; governments have degraded love to fees, legal concerns, and documentation. None of those represent love. Eagerly displaying love via affection, patience, understanding, and loyalty to your significant other in all choices isn’t easy for others to see.

Engagement rings are a sparkling flare that signals someone is deeply loved and devoted to for all time. The engagement ring was once considered the legally binding contract of marriage. They were greatly respected, and so were the unions they symbolized.

  • The round diamond, or brilliant cut, is the original engagement stone because a circle represents infinity, with no end or beginning. The brilliant cut is a great name for round diamonds because the sparkling light emitted from internal refractions is the most brilliant.
  • Oval engagement ring have a gratifying silhouette that visually elongates the fingers. An oval-cut diamond appears as a higher-carat weight stone. They stand out with originality, without veering too far from traditional aspects.
  • Round diamonds create a lot of waste during shaping and are more expensive. Princess cut or square diamonds provide geometric-shaped chips during shaping that are useable in size. The square shape allows stunning prong settings, radiance, and vibrant lustre.
  • For the same reason, heart-cut diamonds are more expensive per carat. Diamonds are cut in geometric patterns, and all rounded edges increase material waste. Hearts on Fire is a brand name that most people will recognize, not a specific cut.
  • Emerald cuts provide the least waste and highest use yield per carat. Our dollar buys a lot more emerald-cut diamonds than all other cuts. Fewer small facets provide the brilliant refraction we look for in a diamond. Their popularity has decreased compared to more expensive stones. This cut is widely used with coloured gems and diamonds
  • Stones with low-angle facets, such as triangle or marquise cut diamonds, shine brightly but are more susceptible to chipping. The corners on a princess cut stone are also vulnerable to chipping. A marquise cut will present larger and cost less by carat weight.
  • There are more options, but the last cut we will address together is the cushion cut. These are essentially princess cuts, with the corners receiving extra facets. The cushion cut is known for its spectacular reflection of white and coloured light. They are durable and one of the cheapest cuts.

Your love should outshine and outlast any stone or rare material on earth. Do not allow government documentation needs for a marriage certificate, ceremony type, or challenges to distract you from that love.

Your love for each other will have more facets and be stronger than any diamond.
