Maksym Krippa Commits $100 Million to Ukraine’s Growth: expansion of assets and new prospects

While most investors are withdrawing capital, Kyiv businessman Maksym Krippa has chosen the opposite strategy – to actively develop Ukrainian projects. Over the past 2 years, he has invested more than 100 million dollars in various sectors, betting on the country’s economic growth. His approach is characterized by an unconventional vision: instead of waiting for stability, he finds prospects even in unstable conditions.

According to Property Investments Dubai, in an interview with Forbes Ukraine, Maksym Krippa shared his approach to investments and spoke about the key areas of his activity. He considers Kyiv real estate to be an important part of his portfolio, as it is not only a financial asset, but also plays a role in the recovery of the capital’s business environment. For him, it is not just an investment, but a strategic investment with a long-term perspective.

The Most Notable Real Estate Deals

BC Parus

Maksym Krippa concentrates his investments on properties with exceptional strategic value that are impossible to replicate. A prime example of this is the BC Parus, which he purchased in 2023. The building had been without a fresh investor for quite some time, but Krippa’s involvement not only completed the acquisition but also opened the door to numerous opportunities for its future development and enhancement.

Following the ownership change, Parus swiftly established itself as one of the most profitable business centers in Kyiv. Its occupancy rate surged past 90%, far surpassing the typical figures seen in the city’s commercial real estate sector. This remarkable performance highlights the building’s renewed appeal and strategic value. This was made possible by efficient management, infrastructure modernization and careful work with tenants.

The acquisition came with considerable financial hurdles. Alongside the property, Krippa inherited loan liabilities amounting to approximately UAH 600 000 000, demanding careful financial strategies to stabilize the asset and guarantee its long-term success. This required implementing additional measures to ensure the property’s continued growth and performance.

Hotel Ukraine

Hotel Ukraine has added another strategically important asset to Maksym Krippa’s investment portfolio. The deal for 2.512 billion hryvnias not only consolidated his position in the premium real estate segment, but also became a milestone in large-scale privatization. This auction on Prozorro was the first such large sale of state property in the last 2 years, which only emphasizes its importance for the market.

Krippa sees the hotel as a long-term investment with high growth potential. The unique location and favorable timing of the acquisition played a key role in the decision. The optimal valuation of the asset allows us to lay the foundation for future profits.

Future modernization can bring the hotel to a qualitatively new level of comfort, increasing its competitiveness. This will open up prospects for attracting more tourists and business representatives, which will have a positive impact on the value of the property.

Other assets and property items

Among the most interesting acquisitions of Maksym Krippa is an elite estate in Kozyn, which he acquired through an open auction in 2023. The lively competition between the bidders significantly increased the final value of the transaction, which rose to 311.11 million hryvnias, exceeding the initial price by 60%.

For Maksym Krippa, the real estate acquisition represents more than just a prestigious asset; it’s a strategic move to create a dedicated corporate hub for Natus Vincere, one of Ukraine’s top esports organizations. The property’s prime location is perfectly suited to meet the club’s needs, offering ample space for key meetings, team training, and fostering an environment conducive to the organization’s ongoing development.

Krippa’s investment portfolio is both varied and impressive, spanning across esports, game development, and real estate. He owns Natus Vincere, Maincast studio, and GSC Game World, the renowned game developer. Additionally, Krippa has secured two landmark properties in Kyiv: the BC Parus and the Hotel Ukraine, solidifying his influence across multiple industries.

Over the past 2 years, he has allocated more than 100 000 000 dollars toward advancing Ukraine’s real estate market, reinforcing its growth trajectory and solidifying its future potential.
