28-year-old Perrie Edwards and boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain enjoyed a romantic date night together after welcoming son Axel.

The new mum has had a tense few days, after it emerged that she appeared to unfollow former Little Mix bandmate Jesy Nelson on Instagram.

After giving a glimpse into the newborn’s fancy nursery, the Shout Out To My Ex star couldn’t help but get excited for the date.

Taking to Instagram, she could be seen posing in front of her staircase in a black blazer dress, paired with black tights, heels and a white bag.

The £120k a week England ace partially got the all-black memo, donning dark trousers and a T-shirt before finishing the look off with a patterned shirt and bright white trainers.

The lovebirds became parents for the first time recently, introducing us all to baby boy Axel.

Keeping a low profile to spend time with their new addition, the X Factor winner revealed that he actually arrived earlier than planned.

Letting fans into his nursery for the first time, she posted on her Instagram story: ‘It was a family affair getting the nursery ready for the little man’s arrival.’

‘Can’t believe he came the day after we put up the furniture #3weeksearly.’

Announcing his name, she recently posted a snap of the tot fast asleep in his basket, with the caption: ‘2 weeks of loving you. I’ve never felt love like this before! Axel Oxlade-Chamberlain.’

Perrie and her Little Mix bandmates, Jade Thirlwall and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, have had all eyes on them this week, after former member Jesy released her debut single, BOYZ, on Friday.

The fandom was rocked when it appeared that the Touch singers decided to unfollow their former bandmate, despite things being ‘friendly’ between the stars.

Jesy is no longer listed in the ‘following’ tab on their separate pages, but is still followed by the official Little Mix account.

Jesy previously unfollowed everyone on Instagram ahead of her debut, and currently only follows Nicki Minaj and Diddy – who she teamed up with on her new track.
