David Walliams and Simon Cowell have ‘switched roles’ on Britain’s Got Talent 2014 this year according to Alesha Dixon who says Simon is the funny one.
David has now become the serious judge while fatherhood has apparently made Simon a softer tough.
Alesha told the Mirror : “I never knew Simon could be so funny and this year David has become more serious so they’ve sort of swapped roles – and David doesn’t like it when Simon is funny because it’s like that’s his role.”
Meanwhile the former Mis-teeq start admitted she became frustrated with some of the contestants on this series, her third year on the panel.
She claimed that despite novelty acts being a centre piece of BGT, she was after proper talent.
Alesha said: “I’m sitting there wanting talent to walk out on stage so if you get a few acts that aren’t particularly talented and you feel like they are wasting your time, you get frustrated.
“So sometimes I pull miserable faces. It’s not that I don’t want to be there it’s just I want someone to come out and move me, someone I want to be shouting from the rooftops about.”
Britain’s Got Talent returns Saturday 12th April.
