TV Judge and singer Alesha Dixon has revealed she may quit Britain’s Got Talent to make a musical comeback.
The Mis-Teeq star said this week that she was back in the studio and music was her number one priority and focus.
“I’m not sure about BGT yet,” she told the Daily Star. “Ideally, I would love to do both my music and BGT but honestly my priority right now is music.
“That’s what I need to focus on.”
Alesha explained: “I’m back in the studio, I’m motivated and I’m really excited about returning to my roots.
“I think it’s really important to remind people why I became a judge in the first place.”
BGT boss Simon Cowell previous insisted that he’s NOT quitting the show after similar rumours, but wouldn’t rule out a change in the panel line up.
“I know there were some reports saying I was going to leave BGT after this year but I’m definitely, definitely not,” Simon said last month.
He added: “I was really pleased with it in the end. We had a fantastic final and some great acts.”
But Simon did reveal that while he will stay the judges could still change.
“It’s about having a conversation to see how much they want to be on the show,” he said of the panel. “Are they still into the idea of finding a star?
“I never want a judge for hire. I want someone committed.”
BGT will return in 2015 on ITV.
