Ashley joined Dancing On Ice last year and proved quite the hit with viewers, even if ratings are at an all time low and the show is set to be axed.

With both Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Ashley’s former bandmate Nicole Scherzinger all out of X Factor this year there is plenty of room for new judges.

And Ashley would love one of them, saying: “[X Factor would] be awesome. I haven’t heard anything in that direction though, but it’d be fun.”

Sources previously claimed that Ashley was “inundated with offers” after her stint in the I’m A Celebrity jungle in 2012.

The insider revealed: “She loves the States and her family, but she hasn’t really got anything keeping her there.

“Her representatives have been inundated with offers of work and she could become a household name in Britain now she has stepped out of the shadow of Nicole and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls.

“X Factor would be her dream gig, but if she couldn’t make it on to the main show, she would be perfect for the Xtra Factor on ITV2.”

Meanwhile MarkMeets can reveal that Cheryl Cole is reportedly still “torn” over whether or not to return to The X Factor UK.

X Factor boss Simon Cowell has made it clear he wants Cheryl back on the panel but the Girls Aloud star is yet to sign a contract.
