The Little Britain comic quips: “You’re like a little version of me if I had any talent.”

Next up, the Robot Boys – Nick (27) and Jeppe (24) – go before the judges with a body popping dance routine dressed in full robot costumes.

And then there’s mum and daughter singing duo Kitty & Rosie, made up of Kitty 25 and Rosie 48 from London, who sing Michael Buble’s Feeling Good.

Simon says: “I’m going to say something which is not going to make me popular… I don’t want to say to you ‘mum go’ but I’m really tempted to say I’d like to see you as solo performers.”

Kitty & Rosie aren’t the only singing duo on this evening’s show as we also see Kieran & Sarah, who have been a couple for over four years, singing a duet of Love Changes Everything.

Peat Loaf & Elaine, a Meat Loaf tribute act, perform Anything For Love for the judges too.

But it’s not just singers on the show this weekend with ventriloquist Sam Jones bringing the laughs with his puppet, Baby Leo.

Coming from the Czech Republic, fire dancers Pyroterra also impress in the Variety category with a love story performed to ‘Wake Me Up’ by Evanescence.

With Simon falling ill during auditions, hosts Ant and Dec step in and they end up having to judge some of the weirder acts.

Steve Barker, a 33 year old customer service assistant from York, raps to The Black Eyed Peas in a bid to become known as the female Rihanna, while Neil Ramjutun, a 68 year old retired grandfather from Stockport in Cheshire, performs a dance routine choreographed by himself to Get On Up by James Brown.

Fortunately not all the acts see the new judges going for the buzzer with Toju Okorodudu, a 40 year old full time comedian from London, getting the Geordie duo laughing with some stand up comedy.

It leaves the last few acts to go before the judges this series and they are some real… interesting ones

Allan Turner-Ward is 37 year old full-time DJ from Bournemouth and performs his own composition of a song called Pose which he’s remixed from an old song from the sixties, accompanied by dance moves.

Plus, Brian Chan, a 25 year old barman and student from Glasgow, entices the judges with a ‘live art painting’: A visual fashion performance to music, accompanied by six models who will be displaying his creations.

Britain’s Got Talent 2014 airs tonight on ITV from 7PM.
