Carl Fogarty has won ‘I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The four-time World Superbike champion was named the 2014 King of the Jungle in the wake of beating Jake Quickenden in the last of the ITV reality show, with Melanie Sykes in third position.
Thinking about his triumph, Carl – the 49-year-old racer, who is tenderly known a “Foggy” – said: ”I simply think its all a fantasy. I think somebody’s playing a joke on me!”
Foggy thanked general society for making him the King of the Jungle, and conceded’s regardless he getting used to his new title.
He said: ”It sounds unbelievable. It feels like a dream. Thanks to everyone for voting.
”This is the best thing of my life, I can’t put into words how happy I am that the public have put me here.
”It’s great to be on the podium one last time.”’
Previous ‘X Factor’ star Jake, 26, was unselfish in annihilation, saying Carl merited the crown.
He said: ”[foggy] was absolutelyCrocodile Dundee.
”He deserves it. He’s a legend and I couldn’t have lost to a better guy.”
Prior in the show, Melanie conceded she appreciated her time in the wilderness.
The 44-year-old excellence imparted: ”It was superior to I expected, I thought it would be horrendous. I had some good times and I made some pleasant companions and I did have a laugh. It has exceeded all expectations.”
