Celebrity Hunted is back for its new 2023 series this month – here is what you need to know.
The hit Channel 4 show sees cameras trail celebrity duos as they become fugitives and attempt to escape the ‘hunters’, a group of former police and intelligence officers.
Going on the run across the country, the pairs of celebrities have to do their best to avoid being captured for 14 days in order to claim victory.
A brand new series is on its way to Channel 4 soon – here’s all you need to know!
Celebrity Hunted start date
A teaser for the first instalment shares: “In the first episode, nine celebrities escape from Shrewsbury prison and go on the run. The hunters are instantly on their tails tracking them with CCTV cameras and a helicopter at their disposal. Katya Jones and Aimee Fuller take off in a vintage Vespa with sidecar.
“James Acaster and Ed Gamble make a daring move with a six-course tasting menu at a Michelin guide restaurant. Husband and wife team Nik and Eva Speakman escape on a tandem bike, hoping that their family network will prove an asset and not a weakness.
“Mathematician Bobby Seagull takes the wheel but will his limited skills as a getaway driver put him and YouTuber Saffron Barker at risk. And solo fugitive Nicola Thorp escapes in a vintage Jag with plans to get her boyfriend, actor Nikesh Patel, onboard as the tenth fugitive. Are the hunters ready for Nikesh?”

The latest series will see ten brand new famous faces go on the run:
Comedians Ed Gamble and James Acaster.
Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Katya Jones and TV personality and former Olympic snowboarder Aimee Fuller.
Husband and wife Life-change experts Nik and Eva Speakman.
Social media star Saffron Barker and TV Mathematician Bobby Seagull.
Broadcaster and actress Nicola Thorp and actor Nikesh Patel .
The celebrities will be taking part for Stand Up To Cancer, the joint national fundraising campaign from Cancer Research UK and Channel 4.
Alongside the Celebrity series there’s also the show’s main Hunted series which sees members of the public take part. The format is the same but those that successfully escape will share a cash prize.
The brand new series of Celebrity Hunted starts on Tuesday 28th March 2023 at 9pm on Channel 4.
