Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell are already apparently clashing (ohh the drama) over Louis Walsh joining them on The X Factor 2014 panel.
As it stands only Cheryl and Simon are confirmed for this year’s panel and it looks like Louis Walsh’s fate is still up in the air.
While Simon is keen to keep the Irish music mogul on the show for what will be his eleventh series, Cheryl wants him gone.
“I would prefer another woman,” she said. “There are people I’d love to join the panel. Definitely a strong woman.
“I’m kind of hoping I don’t have to deal with three guys because otherwise I’ll have no hair — I’ll be pulling it out all the time!”
But Simon said: “I want Louis back.”
And he revealed: “When Cheryl came back we decided we’d agree together. I’m not going to put someone beside her who she hates.”
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “There’s a lot of beef between Cheryl and Louis from his days managing Girls Aloud.”
A spokesperson for Louis commented: “ITV and Simon have given assurances he will be back.”
A source recently told MarkMeets: “Louis Walsh WILL return to The X Factor UK this year”, adding ““The deal with Louis is done – he will be back,”
The X Factor 2014 auditions begin with the open try outs next month before moving onto the judges’ auditions in the summer.
The X Factor will air on ITV this autumn.
