With just one week to go until Dancing On Ice 2014 returns, MarkMeets has the latest gossip on the show which will be live for the first time.
12 nervous celebs have been training for two months for this moment, and it’s not been going great for all of them.
Confirmed Celebrities taking part in the 2014 line up are rugby star Kyran Bracken, X Factor’s Ray Quinn, Emmerdale’s Hayley Tamaddon, actor Sam Attwater, Hear’Say singer Suzanne Shaw and the most recent and reigning winner, gymnast Beth Tweddle, who topped the public vote back in March.
They will be joined by Waterloo Road’s Zaraah Abrahams, Hollyoaks’ Jorgie Porter, Pop Idol’s Gareth Gates, The Bill’s Gary Lucy, as well as series One star Bonnie Langford and former England goalie David Seaman, who finished third in 2006.
Finally in more Showbiz News, completing this year’s Dancing On Ice all stars line up are past Dancing On Ice funnymen Todd Carty and Joe Pasquale.
DOI coach Christopher Dean said he thinks the all star cast will make for the best series yet.
“We are having an all-star cast and have got several of the past winners that will be competing head to head,” he said earlier this year. “From a competition point of view, it’s all these past winners coming back to find out, ultimately, who is the best skater.”
Damcing On Ice is one of our favourite Reality TV shows at popular UK Showbiz News website MarkMeets. The celebs have been in training for a little over two months now and the nerves are now showing with the first live show right around the corner.
Sportstar Kyran Bracken admitted he’s already terrified about putting his skates back on, tweeting: “So one last skating show-cant wait!. C******* myself tho the fake tan and sparkles should calm the nerves! Lol great partner-@NinkaUlanova”
Star of The Bill, Gary Lucy told his fans he was having similar fears, writing on his official Twitter account: “I wish it started in April bit more practice time … unfortunately its Jan :-/”
Favourite to win Ray Quinn didn’t seem that nervous however, saying: “Thanks to everyone for your support already! Let’s have it!! #DOI”
Dancing On Ice starts Sunday 5th January at 6:30pm on ITV1.
