The Essex babe has revealed she’d love to replace Amanda Holden or Alesha Dixon on the ITV talent show as she thinks she and David Walliams together would make telly gold.

“They’ve got their judging panel right now, but if they were ready to refresh it, I’d definitely be up for that,” she said.

“Can you imagine the trouble that me and David would cause? We’d be a nightmare.”

She added to The Sun: “I’ve always liked Simon Cowell. Me and Johnny Vaughan worked with him when we released our cover of Kylie and Jason’s Especially For You and he was great.”

Denise, 40, recently rocked up as businesswoman Karin Smart in EastEnders after finally agreeing to a role on the soap following years of being chased by bosses.

And she’s proved such a hit with fans that producers are trying to get Denise to commit to a full-time role on Albert Square.

Executive producer Dominic Treadwell-Collins told us: “We have a big story conference next week. Denise has gone down really well with fans. Denise could be here to stay. Watch this space.”
