Sean Combs, aka P. Diddy and Puff Daddy, is set to produce a new animated comedy called Brightmoor for FX.
Brightmoor focuses on African-American students at Brightmoor Elementary and is being described as “South Park set in inner-city Detroit.”
Chip Hall, who previously worked on another animated show in King of the Hill created and will write Brightmoor.
Combs will executive produce through his Revolt Films banner.
FX have had previous success with animated comedy after hitting gold with Archer.
The network has so far made no comment on Broadmoor.
