39 year-old TV presenter Emma Willis has given her latest thoughts on some of this year’s rumoured Celebrity Big Brother 2016 housemates.
Chatting ahead of the new series next month on Channel 5, Emma says this year’s line up is possibly one of the best yet.
Danniella Westbrook has been tipped to go into Celebrity Big Brother for the third year in a row from other media outlets, though this time MarkMeets are sure it’s going to happen.
The fallen star star was strongly linked to the latest series earlier this year in September having reportedly agreed a £200,000 deal, however she failed the show’s strict psychology tests and was therefore ‘banned’ from taking part and pulled from the planned line up of housemates.
Other celebs who are also part of producers wish list include: Ola Jordan, Kristina Rihanoff, Nancy Dell’Olio, Hulk Hogan (who wants BIG bucks) and Angie Bowie.
Speaking about some of the names tipped for the series, The Birmingham born star said of TOWIE’s Gemma Collins: “I think she would be brilliant in there. She obviously knows reality TV. She’s a fan of Big Brother, she comes on BBOTS quite a lot. There doesn’t seem to be any falseness with her. What you see is what you get. I think lots of people like her, and lots of people can relate to her… I think most people would like her, and she’d be brilliant.”
Emma said of Angie Bowie joining the line-up: “I don’t really know anything about her story, other than that she was married to David. Having somebody that was married to a legend like that is pretty amazing. Like when we had David Hasselhoff’s ex-wife Pamela Bach in there, in the same year as Jedward. The ex-wives can bring a bit of juice, which is always nice. And I think they have to be strong characters to have led the type of lives they have done.”
On Strictly’s Ola Jordan, Emma quipped: “If Ola’s anything like James, then we should get her in as quickly as we can.”
Former X Factor star turned Bit On The Side host Rylan Clark-Neal has also been having a good gold gossip and said of Danniella Westbrook’s potential appearance: “I’d absolutely love to see her in there. She’s had a life, she’s got a lot of backstory.”
She added: “I’d like to think she’d change a lot of opinions if she went in there, but I don’t know her well enough to say whether she’d do that or just make things worse for herself. That’s why I’d be keen to see her in there. She’d definitely have an interesting journey.”
As for dream CBB housemates, Emma said that they would include TV couple Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.
“They are my ultimate couple to go in there,” she said. “I know them quite well personally, and I’ve been around them as a couple, and I love watching them in a social situation.
“I can’t stop watching them on television. I find their dynamics as a couple quite fascinating. People say, ‘Ooh, they’re always having a pop at each other’, but they absolutely adore one another. They are so in love.”
Celebrity Big Brother: Live Launch is on Tuesday 5th January 2016 at 9pm on CH5
