Gordon Ramsay ‘to reunite’ with Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix for new series of Road Trip this year – despite claims he’s ‘too busy’ for the show
Gordon Ramsay is poised to return for another series of Road Trip, months after co-star Gino D’Acampo suggested the fiery chef was ‘too busy’ to film more episodes.
Ramsay, 55, hopes to reunite with D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix when filming commences later this year, with a fourth series of the lighthearted travel show expected to air in 2023.
The celebrity chef was originally thought to have pulled out due to conflicting work commitments, prompting D’Acampo to claim he would no longer be involved in its development.
Gordon Ramsay is poised to return for another series of Road Trip, months after co-star Gino D’Acampo suggested the fiery chef was ‘too busy’ to film more episodes. Taking to Twitter in November, he wrote: ‘Unfortunately we will no longer be filming #GordonGinoandFred mainly because @gordongram is too busy working on his hair highlights in USA.
Ramsay’s current TV projects include BBC1’s Future Food and the British version of his popular US show, Next Level Chef, which will air on ITV.
He has also featured on new fly-on-the-wall show The Savoy, based around the day to day maintenance of the lavish five-star hotel, where he owns a restaurant.

‘He is something of a victim of his own success at the moment, and he has so much on it’s tricky fitting it all in.
‘He already has something of a logistical conundrum co-ordinating his diary with the busy Fred and Gino, and that’s before they try to set up a string of filming locations — which have yet to be decided.
‘But they are determined to hit the road again as soon as possible and deliver the new show as planned.’

The first series of the show premiered in 2018 and saw the trio explore local culture and cuisine in Italy, France and Scotland.
A Christmas special in 2019 entitled ‘Christmas Road Trip: Three Unwise Men’ saw the group visit Morocco.
The 2021 series followed the trio as they explored Greece.
Road Trip has proven to be a critical and commercial success, and was nominated for a TV BAFTA in 2019.
Gordon is already a huge star in the United States, having worked with Fox for 16 years on shows including Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.
