Kristina Rihanoff banned from dancing with married celebs on Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing 2014 pro Kristina Rihanoff has been banned from dancing with married celebs, it’s been claimed.

This year saw Kristina partnered with single Blue singer Simon Webbe, and the trend of no strings attached celebrity partners is set to remain as long as Kristina stays on the show.

It’s after rumours that linked Kristina to her former pro partner Ben Cohen, following the news that Ben was splitting from his wife Abby after more than a decade of marriage.

And that’s after Kristina got close with her former Strictly co-stars Joe Calzaghe and Vincent Simone in the past.

The Daily Mirror report that Strictly producers decided not to let Kristina dance with any of the married celebs this year.

“There were discussions about Kristina, and she was made aware of them herself.

“There is no blame being attached to anyone.”

The source went on: “Many of the relationships that have broken down after contestants appeared on Strictly Come Dancing clearly had problems before the show began.

“But there is no doubting the fact Kristina is a very attractive woman who has been at the centre of relationship breakdowns.”

They confirmed: “It was thought it would be best to pair her with a single man this year.”
