Rachel Stevens has said the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas exceptional 2014 has made her need to tune in the entire arrangement once more.

The previous Strictly Come Dancing finalist is one of six top pick big name challengers who is returning for the yearly happy one-off tomorrow night on BBC One.

Talking about recording the show, Rachel conceded: “It felt a bit weird at first to be with a new partner, Tristan MacManus, but once you’re in the make up chair, it’s like ‘Right, sparkle me up, load me on!’ It was like I never left.”

The S Club 7 star, who initially came next in the 2008 arrangement with Vincent Simone, went on: “It’s made me want to be in it again!

“When you watch the show, you do miss it. You do get incredibly nervous but actually, as a viewer, you realise that it’s a load of fun and it doesn’t matter.”

Yet while she’s up for an alternate run on the arrangement, Rachel demanded she wasn’t focused when it came to winning the Christmas unique.

“This is all about the fun, it’s panto!” she declared.

Likewise contending in Christmas day’s Strictly is Sophie Ellis-Bextor however not at all like Rachel she would not like to take to dancefloor once more.

“The whole thing with Strictly is you do it once,” Sophie said. “You can’t replicate it.”

“Wonderful as it is,” she continued, “I really wanted to go back to my day job. I missed singing.”

Different stars partaking in the current year’s Strictly Xmas one-off are on-screen character Lisa Riley, Olympic tumbler Louis Smith and soothsayer Russell Grant.
