The 2013 winner has now called the current series a “pantomime”!!
37 year-old “Skyscraper” singer and former prision officer blasted Louis Walsh for voting out Paul Akister earlier on in the live shows.
She told Star magthis week: “I’m deeply heartbroken! I wanted Paul Akister to win.
“Louis had the opportunity to save the mistake he made last year and he didn’t take it. If he’d have gone through last year, I wouldn’t have won.”
Speaking about the decisions made by the judges, Sam went on: “They’re probably looking for looks over voice. It’s very pantomime… look at Stevi Ritchie!
“If the competition was based on vocals he wouldn’t be in the competition.”
Meanwhile, Sam revealed she’d rather be mentored by Mel B this year than Cheryl.
“I value her opinions as she’s been in the business for years. Cheryl would upstage me with her looks,” Sam said.

Nicole Scherzinger could be in line to make a return to The X Factor in place of Simon Cowell next year.
The music mogul is reportedly set to return to the US in 2015 to try and relaunch the show after it was axed this year.
