Simon Cowell requests all mod cons X factor dressing room

X Factor host Dermot O’Leary has been given the boot from his dressing room to make way for Cowell’s demands this series.

The X factor TV host, who has been fronting the ITV series since 2007, struck lucky when he was given Simon Cowell’s huge backstage dressing room when the boss left the show in 2010.

But this year Simon’s back on the panel and he wants his old room back too.

According to the Star, the posh behind the scenes area – which already has “all mod cons” and even a private bathroom – is set to get a makeover with fluffy carpets and huge mirrors ready for Simon’s return.

Poor Dermot has now been given former Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack’s old room.

A source told the tabloid: “Poor Dermot. First he gets ridiculed in The X Factor musical I Can’t Sing and now he’s being evicted from the best dressing room.”

It’s claimed that Mel B will takeover Sharon Osbourne’s old room, Cheryl Cole will hang out where Nicole Scherzinger used to and Louis Walsh will stay where he always has.
