Simon Cowell has said he’s keen to get Tulisa back on The X Factor, however this would mean getting rid of either Cheryl Cole or Mel B next year.
Tulisa quit the show in 2013 after two series, one of which she won with the first (and to date only) group Little Mix.
This year saw Tulisa make a brief comeback as she joined Louis Walsh at his judges’ houses in Bermuda.
Simon declared this week: “It’s about time she came back. I would have her back, definitely.
“I think she’s had a tough time. She did a good job when she was an X Factor judge. ”
However the 26-year-old’s potential return means the end the road for one of the current female judges.
“When Tulisa emerged from the sea [at judges’ houses] in her white bikini she looked every inch the star.
“Since then, Simon has openly admitted that he’d love to see her back for the next series.”
The supposed insider told magazine: this week: “It would be a case of one one out.
“There can only be two woman on the panel, so either Mel or Cheryl’s contract would be in jeopardy.”
Talking about her appearance on The X Factor with Louis earlier this year, Tulisa thanked the show for sticking by her after a rough twelve months.
“This industry is extremely cut-throat and people just cut you off like that. It’s good to know my X Factor family have not disowned me”.
The X Factor continues Saturday and Sunday.
