We’re coming up to the Strictly Come Dancing 2013 and this series is all about the girls!
It’s set to be a three way battle for Strictly Crown between Susanna Reid, Natalie Gumede and Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
With just six celebrities remaining in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing competition, the battle for the crown is as fierce as ever.
At the weekend Mark Benton left in the dance off against Ashley Taylor-Dawson, as we step ever closer to the final later this month.
Early favourite Natalie is once again the bookmaker’s frontrunner, having been overtaken in recent weeks by BBC newsreader Susanna, but the soap actress facing strong competition from Reid and also singer Sophie.
Leading odds comparison site easyodds.com can reveal that having started the weekend both at 5/2, Susanna’s odds have drifted to 3/1 whilst Natalie’s odds have shortened to a best price 9/4.
Sophie continues to impressive and cannot be discounted. Having been 7/1 last week, the singer is now a best price 7/2.
All three celebrities have been bookmaker’s favourite at some stage in the competition and they are expected to be the final three in the show.
This is highlighted by a significant gap in the betting market to the fourth favourite, who is Abbey Clancy at 8/1.
It’s all despite it being Abbey who had topped the judges’ scorebaord at the weekend, recording this series’ first perfect marks of 40 points.
Ashley Taylor-Dawson is at 14/1 and firm outsider Patrick Robinson is priced up at 16/1.
Unsurprisingly, Casualty actor Patrick is therefore the favourite to be voted off next, 7/4 with a number of firms. Ashley Taylor-Dawson is next at 2/1 with Abbey Clancy at 4/1
Strictly Come Dancing 2013 beats X Factor in TV ratings yet again though we love both the shows.
