The Masked Singer latest news and who are the famous contestants

Most recently the first celebrity unmasked as Chandelier is revealed to be Heather Small. The famous ‘M People’ had tried to conceal her voice in her first performance, as she thought her real voice would be too recognisable.

Chandelier was chosen to go home by judges Rita Ora, Jonathan Ross, Mo Gilligan and Davina McCall after landing in the bottom three with Mushroom and Firework.

Despite wowing with her vocals in her performance of Crazy by Patsy Cline, the audience chose not to save her, meaning that she wouldn’t join stars including Doughnuts in the next round.

Mo was especially wowed when Heather’s mask came off, expressing how much of a fan he is of the former lead singer of the band M People.

Most recently, we saw Robobunny, Lionfish, Doughnuts, Chandelier, Mushroom and Firework who all performed.

ITV’s The Masked Singer UK is back for series three, and fans think Mushroom’s identity has already been revealed.
Mushroom gave viewers and the judges a series of clues, teasing their identity while also throwing detectives off the scent.

Speaking with a Northern accent, but appearing to sing with an Irish tone, everyone was confused – but some Doctor Who fans believed they noticed a number of references to the series.

Clues included legal references, “helping to control life” and bringing in new life, while there was also mention of “wanting to be a number of things”.

Perhaps it is a person of many talents, while viewers believed the current Doctor Jodie Whittaker was behind the mask.
One fan said: “Ok this Mushroom sounds like Doctor Who!!!!!

Another tweeted: “Mushroom is Jodie Whittaker surely? So many Doctor Who refs.”

A third added: “Jodie Whittaker for mushroom.”
