This weekend will see each of the final eight performing twice: One solo song and a group number with their coach.

On Team Kylie and Jamie Johnson is singing Bonnie Raitt’s I Can’t Make You Love Me after sailing through to the next round as Kylie’s fast pass last weekend.

“I was really surprised,” Jamie said of being picked by Kylie, “I think all week I was worrying a lot, I just didn’t think I’d get it. I just didn’t think I’d get straight through, I was so happy.”

And Jamie confessed that his song choice last week – Vanessa Carlton’s A Thousand Miles – wasn’t originally his favourite.

“I was a bit unsure, it was a woman’s song which was one thing, I just didn’t think I was going to able to do it,” he explained. “It was a risk and I just wanted to play safe. I was just worried about the song.”

Meanwhile, Lee Glasson will be singing London Grammar’s Strong after packing his bags at the weekend convinced he was leaving.

“I kind of accepted two days before that I was probably gong to go,” the former insurance salesman admitted. “I had it in my head, so jut packed my bags, but it wasn’t like I was moping around. ”

After their two solo performances on Saturday, Jamie and Lee will team up for a group performance with mentor Kylie, singing the Aussie star’s latest hit Into The Blue together.

The Voice UK airs this weekend on Saturday night on BBC One.
