The first of The Voice UK 2016 battle round pairings have been released.

So last Saturday night we witnessed the end of the blind auditions as the final 48 contestants were confirmed.

Coaches Will.i.am, Paloma Faith, Boy George and Ricky Wilson have now completed their teams and it’s on to the battles (or duets, as Paloma prefers we call them).

Here each of the coaches will pit two of their singers against one another in a musical duel that only one can win.

In each pairing, their coach alone must decide who wins and goes through on their team to the knock outs.

But it’s not necessarily the end for the loser as rival coaches can swoop in and steal them for their own teams.

By the end of it all each coach will have a total of eight acts, six still standing from their original line ups and two others stolen from the other teams.

This Saturday night sees the fist half of the battles and here are the pairings you can expect to see…
