Charming musical transfers to The Other Palace from November 2019 to February 2020
Amélie: The Musical is set for a nine-week West End run from late 2019. Presale tickets for all performances are available at 10am on Fri 12 Jul ahead of general sale on Mon 15th July.
The show transfers to The Other Palace in London from Fri 29 Nov 2019–Sat 1 Feb 2020, following a sold-out run at the Watermill Theatre and a hugely successful UK tour. The show premiered in 2015 and has since travelled to seven countries.
Amélie: The Musical is the theatrical re-imagining of the beloved five-time Oscar-nominated film released in 2001. The movie was praised for its atmospheric soundtrack, which has been transformed for the stage into a critically acclaimed re-orchestrated score featuring 20 songs.
Amélie will be played by Audrey Brisson, whose stage credits include The Elephantom, Pinocchio, Pericles and The Grinning Man. Further casting is yet to be announced
The musical details Amélie’s life and the many secretive, small, but extraordinary acts of kindness she undertakes each day. Her kindness and charm lead her to discover the possibilities around every corner as she brings happiness to those she encounters. When a chance at love comes her way, Amélie realises that to find her own contentment, she’ll have to risk everything and say what’s in her heart.
Amélie: The Musical runs at The Other Palace from Fri 29 Nov 2019–Sat 1 Feb 2020. Priortiy tickets are available via Encore from 10am on Fri 12 July. General sale begins at 10am on Mon 15 July.
