Sara Bareilles ready for Broadway in Star-Studded ‘Into the Woods’ Revival This Summer!

Sara Bareilles heads back to Broadway with a star-studded cast for a limited eight-week run of the classic musical.

Performances will begin at the St. James Theatre on Tuesday, June 28 and the limited run will end on August 21. Tickets are on sale now!

Sara will be reprising her role as the Baker’s Wife alongside new cast members Brian D’Arcy James as the Baker, Patina Miller as the Witch, Phillipa Soo as Cinderella, and Joshua Henry as Rapunzel’s Prince.

Returning in their roles from City Center are Gavin Creel as the Wolf/Cinderella’s Prince, Julia Lester as Little Red Riding Hood, Cole Thompson as Jack, Annie Golden as Cinderella’s Mother/Grandmother/Giant’s Wife, and more.

Into the Woods first premiered on Broadway in 1987, winning three Tony Awards including Best Score and Best Book for Stephen Sondheim. It has since been produced throughout the world and was adapted into a major motion picture in 2014. This production will mark its first time on Broadway in 20 years.
